Job description
- Developing and implementing a procurement strategy aligned with the Company's business objectives, including defining procurement categories and the approach for each category
- Researching the supplier market, evaluating and selecting strategic partners, and managing relationships with key suppliers
- Leading negotiations on pricing, contractual terms, delivery deadlines and payment conditions, and concluding and managing framework agreements
- Preparing and managing the annual procurement budget, monitoring costs and identifying opportunities for savings and procurement consolidation across departments
- Managing supply chain risks and ensuring continuity of supply
- Leading, mentoring and developing a team of two employees (Procurement Specialist and Inventory Specialist)
- Cooperating with department heads and design engineers to align procurement with project requirements
- Defining and improving internal procurement processes and procedures, and reporting to the Management Board on results and key performance indicators
Requirements
- University or college degree in economics, engineering or a related field
- At least 5 years of professional experience in procurement, including a minimum of 2 years in strategic procurement
- Proven experience independently leading supplier negotiations and concluding contracts
- Technical understanding of materials and components used in electrical cabinet production and/or renewable energy systems
- Analytical skills: budget management, cost analysis, calculating and tracking savings
- Experience leading a team, or clear readiness to take on a leadership role
- Working knowledge of English and/or German, both spoken and written
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
- Category B driving licence
